Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure that uses tiny crystals or other exfoliating surfaces to help remove the superficial layer of dead skin cells. The machines can buff and polish the skin using a stream of fine crystals or a diamond tip, while some also vacuum loose skin cells from the face.
This course is aimed at practitioners, wishing to deliver an effective exfoliation treatment to clients which also allows for enhanced the absorption of nutrients and products to improve a variety of skin issues or as an anti ageing treatment.
Several topics are covered and some topical product information included. There is a theoretical assessment and practical assessment on the day of training. This also forms part of a wider modular training program that advances to other therapies and products.
This course discusses the benefits, contraindications and risks that come alongside this treatment. Safety precautions, equipiment maintenance and protocols are also taught.
