Level 3 Intensive Chemical Peels

This level 3 intensive chemical peel course is aimed at practitioners who wish to deliver deep depth chemical peel treatments to clients. This can include treating a variety of skin problems or an anti-ageing treatment. Compared to prior corses (level 1 and 2 peels), the pH of some of the products are essentially lower. This means that extra care is needed when using these substances.

Practitioners must complete Level 2 chemical peels prior this course.

Course Description

This course is aimed at aesthetic and medical aesthetic practitioners wishing to deliver an effective epidermal and dermal exfoliation using specialist intensive action treatments to clients which also allows for enhanced the absorption of nutrients and products to improve a variety of skin issues or as an anti ageing treatment.

Several topics are covered and advanced product information included. There is a theoretical assessment and practical assessment on the day of training. This also forms part of a wider modular training program that advances to other therapies and products.

It is the Intensive session for Nurses and Drs, and the focus here is more focussed on product properties and safe and effective management of patients with an increased expected reaction to the treatment and subsequent monitoring for maximum outcome.  The pH of some of the products here ( such as the TCA or Retinoic acid) are significantly lower than the preceding course with some treatments penetrating to the dermis.

  2. Cover depth and type of peel by skin condition
  3. Learn how to provide treatments with products
